OFC has been applying to grants for as long as we have been gathering. Four years! We have collaboratively written so many amazing proposals about who we are, what we do, the impact we have had, and the vital space we create for our community. We have a long doc with writing that has only been seen by a few people, until now. I am going to begin sharing a series of Grant Excerpts of the brilliant language in our DreamWidth (DW) Node.

In the Calling Up Justice Open Development meeting today we discussed the ideas of sharing our language. I shared about this series and Claudia shared they wanted to make them into comics / a zine series. If anyone with artistic skill wants to volunteer and dive into this idea, please let us know!

This series is to celebrate the amazing work of so many people who have come and gone from our space and to inspire new members to join us in the Node Playground (zoom meetings for all of nodes). The invitation is to reflect on what was shared, what you want to add, how would you want to expand or grow the concepts or ideas shared in each post, and start a conversation in the replies or in any of our meetings or forums to continue the conversations some of these questions and our responses brings to mind for you as members of our community.
