Claudia Alick provided strategic planning, accessibility, conflict resolution, and design consults for the leadership of The National Disability Theater. Claudia met one on one and with staff. When they decided to sunset their practice she worked with them to produce a final Microgrant and handbook.

2023 Microgrants

In Spring 2023, over 100 eligible disabled artists applied for Artist MicroGrants. NDT funded 40 artists for a total of more than $50,000 in support. The process was eligibility-based, and resembled a raffle. To make the process equitable, Artists who identified as Black, Brown, Queer or Trans were eligible for separate “buckets” of funding than disabled artists who did not experience multiple marginalizations.

2023 National Disability Theater Handbook

Claudia Alick consulted on the design and contents of the book. She was interviewed for it and also recorded the entire audiobook version.
