Rebecca Pingree - Calling Up Justice!

Rebecca Pingree

Rebecca was a lead organizer for Producing in Pandemic. I’m a born-and-bred Bay Area kid, raised from childhood on local theatre productions and old movie musicals, and spent many a stormy afternoon recreating scenes from Singin’ in the Rain with my three siblings, like ya do. As such, it’s no surprise that I’ve spent the intervening years acting on a variety of stages throughout Northern California, including TheatreFirst, Shotgun Players, Ray of Light, Napa Conservatory Theatre, Marin Theatre Company, Pac Rep and Arabian Shakespeare Fest, to name a few. I hold an MFA in Collaborative Theatremaking from Rose Bruford in London, and a BA in Theatre Arts from SFSU. I’ve also studied intensively with Dennis Krausnick, Andrew Borthwick-Leslie, and Michael Toomey at Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts, with Matteo Destro at ATELIER Mask Movement Theatre in Italy, and Paola Coletto at The School for Theatre Creators in LA. You can check out my home page for current performances, but you can also regularly find me at Mask Mondays, a monthly mask theatre sharing at Standard Deviant Brewery in SF. https://www.rebeccapingree.com/
