FunkyAzhido is the digital and street dancer persona of an environmental justice advocate who plays and dances in the Southeast. Taking the experiences from her day job in sustainable transportation, she loves exploring varying experiences of movement and how humans navigate physically, digitally, and socially on our planet. When she’s not theorizing about the choreography and lab of living, she is usually doing something nerdy. Proudly dawning the insult of “anime freak”, she spends a lot of time blerding out online about her favorite shows and supporting the Black Anime TikTok community. She can be found most places online by the name FunkyAzhido.
