Artistic and Process Statement: Claudia Alick’s “Sis You a Bad Bitch” began with a collage of a Black woman. She used the AI generators to generate versions that were screaming in joy, pain, or standing in their power. She edited a video that cycled through these different emotions and added different filters to create motion, power, and shining lights. She added the music Sis You A Bad Bitch 2.0 by Shariya Wise and named the piece after the song.
