Claudia Alick had the pleasure of presenting a specifically designed accessibility workshop for Mom’s Rising. It was a pleasure to be in such a great women led space full of progressive values. Claudia’s workshops are full of history and best practice that set up any organizing group for success.
MomsRising combines the best of American innovation and ingenuity. We are a transformative on-the-ground and online multicultural organization of more than a million members and over a hundred aligned organizations working to increase family economic security, to end discrimination against women and mothers, and to build a nation where both businesses and families can thrive.
MomsRising is also a new media outlet with over 3,000 bloggers and a combined estimated blogging and social media readership reach to over 5 million people.
Our MomsRising movement is powered by two separate organizations, MomsRising Together, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, and MomsRising Education Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity. As a charity, the Education Fund is nonpartisan and does not support or oppose any candidate for elected public office.
The first workshop was in 2024. In 2025 she led another workshop and also participated in their podcast.
Breaking Through: Justice for Epstein Survivors, Protecting Our Care, How Art Can Save Lives, Ongoing Congressional Budget Battles
July 28, 2025
On the radio show this week, we cover what is happening with Trump’s nefarious actions to deny the Epstein survivors justice to save his own political career, and why we must believe women. We dive into how catastrophic health care cuts will hurt moms, seniors, and hardworking families to line the pockets of billionaires — and what you can do about it. We discuss how art can save lives, and the importance of performance and creativity in social justice. We hear about the legislative timeline and ongoing congressional budget battles and where we need to raise our voices in the coming days.
