The “Liberated Equity Diversity Inclusion and Accessibility” LEDIA Talkspace held on July 11, 2023, focused on the topic of Let’s Talk about coming together. Facilitated by Matthew Reynolds and Trena Bolden Fields, with support from the Calling Up Justice practice, the conversation included experiences at the “We Are Worthy Summit,” the importance of authenticity and living in one’s truth, challenges in coming together due to supremacy culture, unknowingly upholding white supremacy culture, the capture of community exchanges by commercial digital spaces, resisting social media’s influence through off-platform spaces, a program for students focused on unity, empowerment through sharing stories, and closing with gratitude, lessons, and a commitment to connection and elevation.
