The Alliance’s recent Convening showcased a commitment to accessibility, evident in their comprehensive, clear, and accessible processes. Advocacy efforts during the event ranged from lobbying senators on issues of sexual and reproductive healthcare and home and community-based services to fostering cross-disability and cross-movement solidarity. The experience underscored the urgent need for systemic change in areas like healthcare, travel, and community support to combat ableism and oppression effectively.
