Calling Up Understanding Zoombombing

March 29– This is another method of harassment.  Generally the abuse is racist and comes from a white male dominant violent perspective.  I made this video resource in March but just shared this resource from the Anti-Defamation League in meantime.   Since then Zoom has had an update where they’ve added a few steps that make it easier to lock your account down for safety.  Try to balance accessibility, common sense, and thoughtful public communication and you should be fine.  For those of us in social justice this disrupting behavior is nothing new.  Different platform same white supremacy culture.
