A common microaggression committed by white and non-black people is asking to touch a Black woman’s hair or touching them without consent. Intent matters however impact matters

more. While in some cases the intention is to compliment the behavior is dehumanizing, exoticizing, objectifying, transgressing/violating boundaries, rude, presumptuous, and entitled.
