Artist Statement: Claudia Alick’s “Black Woman Spins Worlds” started as a Dalle experiment. More of an excuse to play with editing tools. I made a collage and added legs, and extended gold background, the ghost of a blue skirt and a red bar that would become a suggestive flow of movement in the animation. The images was meant to evoke ideas about power of the feminine. The animation added epic elements and dreamlike elements. I edited the images together and added a music background from Makenna Lyric.

@claudiaalicklove I made an art. First I started with the idea of a black woman juggling worlds. I started with a high end, then use a different program and make collage and then set it back into a different AI engine, and then fed into a video editor. And used a few affects there. That music is my sister. @ma@makenna lyric
