Calling Up Justice had such a great time attending Coast Pride. We embedded the livestream in our LGBQ2S Oasis inside the Digital Encampment. We hung out for around 3 hours chatting, enjoying the acts and doing a digital dance. This as Coast Prides first livestream and they did a great job. We love gathering in the spirit of accessibility.
Event Information
CoastPride offers a safe space online and at community events to gather the diversity of our voices, raise awareness of LGBTQ issues, and address the needs of our LGBTQ youth, families, and adults. We work with existing local civic, governmental, for-profit and nonprofit organizations to enhance services so that they are inclusive of all who play, work, and live on the coastside. - 11:30 – 12:15 Staging for parade at Filbert and Purisima Streets
- 12:15 – 1:00 Parade Route along Main Street from Filbert to Mill
- 1:00 – 4:30 Entertainment, Food and Drinks, and Family Fun Zone at Mac Dutra Square
- 5:00 After-Party at Venice Beach. Grand Marshal Marci Springer
