Calling Up Justice works with a RADICAL GENEROSITY model and we invite all clients to engage with this exercise. This is about assessing the true value of our labor and expertise. We begin by acknowledging that in our industry, organizations, and individuals, are resourced at different levels. The world is inequitable. The first goal of our model is that everyone profits outside of monetary compensation. Tools or resources created are shared with the field and community at large.

Calling Up values the work of increasing performances of justice for all communities; compensating culture producers equitably; and inclusion for all. You know what your total resources are and what your budget is better than our team, so please provide two numbers. FIRST is what the work is worth to your organization. Please fully engage in the exercise and provide a number. This indicated where you are in your process and if you are ready to work with us. The SECOND number should be what you can actually afford. We understand that there will be potentially a significant gap between these two numbers.

We’ll negotiate a rate based on these two numbers. Our company base rate is $500 an hour. With the Calling Up Justice Practice, the first 15 minutes of our consultations are free. Depending on the project size and our budget the rate can go above the $500 an hour. Often times we love to do a project rate so we can use crip-time completing your project. Higher investment in Calling Up Justice supplements our lower income participants and the platforms and tools we use to communicate.
