Who is Tyre Nichols? A 29-year-old Black man in Memphis, Tyre Nichols was brutally beaten by police officers after a traffic stop earlier in January. The Every 28 Hours Plays were developed in Ferguson as part of the Uprising and produced in over 70 productions nationally.
