Transmedia storytelling has been utilized in theater productions, such as the Black Women Playwrights’ Group and Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) collaboration on By The Way, Meet Vera Stark and Kristoffer Diaz’s The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, to create a more immersive and expansive experience. The Calling Up Justice practice values the freedom and accessibility that transmedia storytelling provides.
